Cause marketing - What is the real motive for the big corporations that run these campaigns?

An excellent article by Peter Novak in Canadian Business discusses Bell Canada’s recent “Cause” marketing campaign called “Let’s Talk” which discusses mental health issues and awareness in Canada.

 

Many of us have been personally touched by someone in our lives with a mental illness. Does Bell Canada really care or are they in it for the profit?
